On Monday 22 March 2021, Guernsey entered Recovery Phase 3 of its exit from lockdown
with 23 days since a positive case of Covid-19 was identified. This means that we have no restrictions within the Bailiwick of Guernsey (Guernsey, Herm, Sark, Alderney and smaller islands). Restrictions remain in place for travel to and from the island with a mandatory period of self-isolation of 14 days in place.
Artemis’s offices are open to staff and visitors with effect from 22 March 2021. Meetings can continue by video or telephone for off-island contacts or for those on-island who prefer the convenience of this mode of communication.
The island is making excellent progress with vaccinations. At 22 March 2021, 30% of the population aged 16 or over have received one dose and 11% have received two doses. The States of Guernsey have issued a ‘Bailiwick Blueprint’ which sets out (inter alia) a plan to reduce our border restrictions although much depends on the progression of the virus elsewhere in the world and the efficacy of the vaccination programme.
We are mindful of the global impact of this virus and the disruption to the lives and livelihoods of so many people. We wish all of our clients and business partners the very best in these challenging times.
